Our wide selection of apartments and tight connection with property owners, managers and local agencies in Shanghai enable us to provide multiple apartments to groups and companies with different budgets and needs. Our customized solutions offer cost-effective lettings when compared to hotels while placing an emphasis on comfort and convenience. Typically you will save 30%-70% on Shanghai hotels of equivalent standard.

We need to know the basic information from you such as: preferred location, number of people staying, number of apartments/bedrooms needed, rental budget, when to arrive and length of stay, etc.


We will deal with your request as quickly as possible (we aim to respond to all emails within 48 hours if we receive them during office hours). To avoid our emails from getting moved to your spam folder, make sure to add booking@HomeyShanghai.com to your “approved sender list” or “white list”. You can also add us to your “address book”.












Terms & Conditions

The following are terms and conditions for renting apartments. If you have a question or concern which is not covered here, please contact us. We look forward to your stay with us!

RESERVATION PAYMENT:

In order to book the apartment we need a reservation deposit of 20% of the total amount of your stay plus the $35 USD administrative fee. The reservation will only be confirmed once the total reservation payment is received.

Payments may be made via bank wire directly into our bank account or online via PayPal. Please not that all wire transfer fees will be charged on your end. An additional option to send the reservation deposit is through Western Union Money Transfer, which has locations in over 190 countries.

As is our policy, your reservation deposit and the administrative fee are non-refundable if you cancel or modify the dates of your reservation. In the case of a "No-Show" the reservation will be treated as a cancellation. Buenos Aires Habitat will not be held responsible for cancellations or modifications of the dates for ANY REASON.

Please verify and confirm your booking dates before making the reservation, since your reservation is only valid for the dates you schedule. Provided you decide to change the previously made reservation dates, deposits related to that reservation dates will not be refunded. If the guest wishes to make a new reservation a new payment will have to be made.

ADMINISTRATIVE FEE:

All reservations (no matter how short or long) are subject to a non-refundable $35 USD administrative fee.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT  TIMES:

CHECK-IN: We know what it's like to arrive in Buenos Aires after an all-night flight, so you will be able to check-in upon arrival. FREE of charge (except special dates listed below) you are able to choose the exact time of the check-in.

CHECK-OUT: At any time before 12:00pm. If guest would like a later check-out (after 12:00pm), guest must reserve the property for an additional day (subject to availability).

Note that on the following dates: December 24th , December 25th , December 31st and January 1st there is an additonal fee of $50 USD per each check-in / check-out.

Please bear in mind that after the check-out you can NOT store bags/luggage in the apartment building nor in our office.

RENTAL AGREEMENT PAYMENT:

At the day of arrival, we will meet you at the apartment to sign the rental contract agreement. At that moment you must pay the full amount remainder and the security deposit. All these payments are to be made in CASH in US dollars or euros only. Please be sure to have with you the necessary funds in cash before your arrive at the apartment. The keys will not be turned over until the guest has paid the total amount in full (the rental fee plus the security deposit).

Payments for accommodation are non-refundable. If you decide to shorten the length of your stay, previously made payments will not be refunded.

REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT:

When you sign the rental agreement you will also sign a copy of the inventory. The guest will provide a security deposit in CASH, in US dollars, Argentinean pesos or euros that is kept on file until the guest's departure. The security deposit is returned at the end of the stay, provided that there are no damages and the apartment is left in good condition. Prior to your departure we will schedule a time to meet at the apartment to confirm the apartment's condition and return the deposit. In the case of damages or missing items, the cost will be deducted from the security deposit. If the security deposit does not cover the costs of the damages, the guest must pay the difference.

The amount of the refundable security deposit will vary according to the length of your stay and the category of the apartment requested. The minimum amount is $400 USD. 

NO-SHOW POLICY:

In the case of a "No-Show" the reservation will be treated as a cancellation. If a guest does not check-in on the reserved date and time (and has not notified Buenos Aires Habitat of any delays), the apartment will be released after 12 hours from the check-in time.

DISCLAIMER:
All landlords have the right to decide not to allow tenants into their properties. In the event that this occurs, we will make alternative arrangements for you. The use of the property by more than the number of allowed persons will result in the immediate termination of the rental agreement
